The K League club Daejeon Citizen has officially announced that former Kofu Windom head coach Yoshitaka Yoshida has been appointed as the team’s assistant coach.
The 50-year-old Yoshitaka Yoshida previously coached teams such as the Kashiwa Reysol and the Albirex Niigata, leading the then J2 League Kofu Windom to win the 2022 Emperor’s Cup.
After being released from Tokushima Vortis in March this year, he had been unemployed until now. Joining Daejeon Citizen, he will assist the team’s head coach Hwang Sun-hong to help the team complete the relegation survival task.
