He held all his service games, despite having multiple break points on Vukic’s serve but failing to convert any. The difference in their serving was more evident in the tiebreaks, where Fritz ultimately triumphed 7-6(5)/7-6(4) over Vukic to secure his place in the final.
In the final, Fritz will face Australian qualifier Jason Kubler, who defeated hometown wildcard Harris 6-4/4-6/6-4 in the semis, reaching his first ATP tour-level final in his career.
