Tottenham Hotspur has officially signed the prodigious talent, Archie Gray, from Leeds United. The Premier League takes a look at the player’s background, where his father, grandfather, uncle, and even his younger brother have strong ties to the club.
At just 18 years old, Archie Gray is a jewel in Leeds United’s crown, attracting interest from top clubs despite his young age. His father, Andy Gray, had a career that included spells at Leeds United, Nottingham Forest, and Sunderland, making 51 appearances in the Premier League.
Archie’s grandfather, Frank Gray, was part of the Leeds United team that won the First Division title in the 1973/74 season. He later joined Nottingham Forest and became a European Cup champion in the 1979/80 season.
Additionally, Archie’s uncle, Eddie Gray, is one of Leeds United’s all-time greats, winning the First Division twice, an FA Cup, and a League Cup. After retiring, he also managed Leeds United on two separate occasions.
The story doesn’t end there; Archie’s younger brother, Harry Gray, currently plays for Leeds United’s youth team.
In an interview with The Post in April, Archie said, “I watched my dad play when I was very young, and I’ve heard stories about my uncle and grandfather. I hope to do them proud.”
