On the evening of July 1st, UEFA’s Ethics and Disciplinary Committee announced that it has charged Jude Bellingham for potential breaches of the code of conduct. However, renowned Mirror journalist John Cross has suggested that the chances of the player being suspended remain very slim.
On social media, Cross wrote, “Expectation was always that Bellingham wouldn’t face punishment… Still highly unlikely to be a ban, but an official investigation is underway.”
