Jakarta – Gresini Racing officially revealed their schedule for the unveiling of their new livery as they gear up for the MotoGP 2024 season.
In an official statement on social media platform X, they announced that the launch dates for their new liveries in MotoGP, Moto2, and MotoE will take place on January 20, 2024, in Riccione, Italy.
Gresini becomes the first MotoGP team to announce its presentation date.
“We’re ready to dance. The show starts on January 20th,” Gresini wrote.
For the 2024 season, Gresini will be joined by six-time world champion Marc Marquez. The Spaniard joined the team before the end of the previous season. At Gresini, Marquez will form a duo with his brother, Alex Marquez.
The team is currently competing without a major sponsor, although they have managed to secure five MotoGP victories since leaving Aprilia and joining Ducati over the past two seasons.
Marquez’s presence is likely to have a financial impact on the team, potentially attracting sponsors like Red Bull, which is a personal sponsor of Marquez.
Marquez himself has come to Gresini with the aim of ending his victory drought from the past two seasons and pursuing a world championship title, a feat he hasn’t achieved in the last three seasons.
